Initial Post

Back from the CCIE WiFi Lab in San Jose. Didn't get it on this pass, but I'm going to go back out in April. After about 5 hours of messing around I realized I wouldn't finish in time. Messing around on the lab for the last few hours was more helpful to me than trying to pass it during the first 5. There is a lot of stuff covered, so I recommend that anybody going to this to practice configuring everything, and do it as fast as possible. Know the command line cold, as you need to have save as much time as you can to review everything you have done. If you come upon something you do not know, skip for after you have done everything you do know, and you have reviewed everything. Assume everything that is related to autonomous and unified is on the exam, it will serve you well.

  1. Thanks for the peek into your lab experience - I'd been wondering if the configuration was geared to the CLI or the GUI. I prefer the CLI, but there always the gotchas that aren't configurable from the CLI.
